Robbie Taylor, Marc MacRowland - State Of Mind feat. Zawdi MC ( Original Mix )

Robbie Taylor, born in Rotterdam as Robbie ’t Jong, has always been passionate about music and active in music from a very young age. He comes from a musical family and at the age of 6 he started taking music lessons. First soprano saxophone and at a later age alt saxophone.His continuing interest in radio and DJ’s inspired him to start collecting mixers, cd-players and turntables at the age of 9. When he was older he started his own radio show called ‘Pump this party’ along with four other local DJ’s. But when this show came to an end, Robbie still wanted to continue making radio programmes and he created a new show called “Pure house, music for the soul”. While he was busy with his radio programmes, he was also active in organizing various music events. Together with his friend and fellow DJ Dave (31/12/1981 – 16/07/2007) he developed the concept “Waterworld”, a houseparty which was located on a boat where different kinds of house where played. Other events created and organised by Robbie are “Funky Friday” and “KingsSquare Beatz”. He is still actively involved in planning and organizing houseparties.

Pray For More, Annette Taylor - You Love Me Right [ remix pack ]

Pray For More is the brainchild of Austrian born and raised DJ, Promoter and Producer Roland Bartha AKA DJ Velasquez. He started playing out mixed club music in the mid eighties with the fellow age of 16 around his hometown and various clubs in Vienna, quickly becoming on of the biggest names in the very buzzing Austrian club scene. During the same time and after a few visits to the magic island, that is Ibiza, he was offered a residency at the now long time closed club Angel’s in Ibiza Town in 1986 where he quickly established himself as the number one DJ of the club and by that time also fell in love with this new and different sound evolving out of the US, called House Music. Words spread over the island, and the following year one of the biggest and most famous clubs on the island, Es Paradis Terrenal in San Antonio, offered him the unique chance to become their new main resident DJ which he was for 5 continuing years until 1993. It was also the time when he met this crazy English guy called Charlie Chester, who, back in the days, ran the now legendary Flying Party’s in and around London and also the infamous Flying Records Store in Kensington High Street. Together they put on two Flying Party’s at Es Paradis Terrenal in 1988 including DJ’s like Phil Perry, Mark Wilkinson, Rocky, Diesel, Clive Henry, Ashley Beedle and many others, who became a big success and led to a mere of party’s at all the clubs over the next years

Marc MacRowland (MMR) started spinning records at the age of 16. 

He practiced with different styles of music but got really into house music after a few years. His professional career really took off when he entered a DJ contest at the famous Club Nighttown in Rotterdam. The jury consisted of a.o. Ferry Corsten and Michel the Hey. They decided he was the best of all the contestants. The prize was the opportunity to play at the FFWD Dance Parade (the Dutch Loveparade, with 500.000 visitors). This was a great experience and the house DJ Marc MacRowland was born and ready for more. Soon he got his first residency at Club Ministry of Dance. His career rapidly developed with gigs all over the country. Nowadays he plays at all several large and small events as well as clubnights such as Sushi Samba, Thalia Lounge, Escape Venue, The Powerzone, Offcorso, Jimmy Woo, etc. etc. Today his resume shows performances at various festivals also: 

Dance 4 Free, Rotterdam Electronic Music Festival, Save Me Festival, Koninginnedance, Volvo Ocean Race and even the 25 year old Oerol Festival on Terschelling.
