Sneak previews of elements of ‘Satellite’ appeared on the new ‘Structures’ LP, where John utilized a breakdown FX version in his mix finale. The full original version was then unleashed in its own right as a single, along with counterpart ‘Meteor’, gaining big support from the like of Carl Cox, Fergie, Desyn Masiello, Hernan Cattaneo, Anderson Noise, Sasha, and many more.Now, just when you thought you could sit down for a rest, ‘Satellite’ has received some superb heavy-duty treatment in the remix department from the highly exciting Maetrik, and a top notch big room makeover from Tronic main man, Christian Smith.Maetrik shows exactly why he’s such an exciting prospect with a stunning low-slung seriously heavy-duty groove that can’t fail to impress. It was the year 1991 when Clayton Steele aka Fella had his first encounter with electronic music. He was fifteen years old and living in London, England at the time. During that year he became intrigued by what the future held for this genre of music. He returned home to Canada and purchased his first set of turntables at the age of seventeen. Since that time his love and passion for electronic music has evolved into a lifestyle and way of thinking. >Fella’s goal as he gets on the decks is to give some meaning and synchronicity to the finished product of his mixing ability. He truly concentrates on his choice of music and puts his heart and passion into creating nothing less than the best electronic sounds that even the most educated listener can appreciate. His sounds parallel those that are heard across the globe on any of the top notch dance floors.

If you are not an avid follower of dance music but are tuned into popular culture at all youve likely experienced music touched by the hands of John Digweed. Originally hailing from England but having clearly arrived on the global scene nearly a decade ago, John has long since cemented his name in the pages of dance music history. His list of achievements is groundbreaking to say the least.

Highlights would be the first proper dj mix compilation (Renaissance, done with Sasha), being the first British dj to hold a residency at what was then the worlds most well known club in NYC (Twilo, also with Sasha) as well as having remixed tracks by Danny Tenaglia, Underworld and New Order.

With a music career already spanning nearly two decades, comprising four albums and multiple singles, some could think that Robert Babicz would be ready to settle down for a quiet life, however, nothing could be further from the truth. With his fourth full length due to drop in March 2010 on Systematic Recordings, Robert Babicz continues to reveal his talent and skill as one of Europe’s most essential techno producers.

Straight out of Cologne in 1993, under the pseudonym Rob Acid, Babicz released his first single Happy Answer on London Records, which unexpectedly became a huge club hit. With the rise of acid house influenced records dominating the charts, Babicz was able to ride high on this new wave of club culture. In addition to becoming an in demand live performer using one of his other names, Acid Warrior, Babicz started to release singles on high profile imprints like Kompakt, Treibstoff and Steve Bug’s Audiomatique, as well as his own label, Junkfood.
