Djmag Pacha Summer Ibiza 2010 ( Mixed By Juan Diaz )

Juan Diaz began DJing in his native Catalonia in 1988, aged only 15 years old. After regularly playing throughout Spain, he gained his first residency at Pacha, Pineda (in Tarragona city) in 2000, playing weekly to a crowd of 5,000 people. In the same year, Diaz gained his first guest spot at Pacha Ibiza and joined the club’s DJ agency ‘Pacha Futura’. After having built his name and reputation on the Spanish house scene, Diaz took his sound onto an international level. He now plays regularly in Holland, Portugal, Malaysia, America and Italy and has played standout parties at Creamfields (yearly festival in UK), Zouk (Singapore) and Opium Gardens (Miami) as well as DJing for Pachas worldwide, including clubs in Ibiza, London, Budapest and Zurich. This summer (2005) Diaz was resident for Erick Morillo’s Subliminal Sessions at Pacha, Ibiza, playing alongside Morillo, Harry Romero, Jose Nunez and many others. He currently holds a respected weekly residency at Catwalk in Barcelona. In 2003, Diaz was nominated as the ‘Best Spanish DJ’ at the Miami Winter Music Conference and in 2004 he won the Prestige Award for Best House DJ in Barcelona. In 1999, Diaz released his first compilation “New Dimension” on Spanish label Kidesol Records

Kid Massive has been perfecting and developing his skills in his native Denmark. With a signature style of driving but uplifting house, reflecting sounds across the entire genre, Kid Massive has earned support from Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grand and Axwell. 
 
Armed with a smoky-sexy voice, Sam Obernik has one of the most distinctive vocals in the industry. One of her notable successes' came when she teamed up Tim Deluxe on the global chart-topping hit 'It Just Won't Do'. She's also been lucky enough to tour and record with the likes of Terry Hall (The Specials) and Bryan Ferry, played guitar for Britney Spears and features on a string of big Dance productions ranging from Kurd Maverik to Alex Gaudino.

As a DJ, Pete has graced the decks of the best clubs and festivals worldwide. As a producer he has assembled the music for movie soundtracks such as The Beach, Human Traffic and 24 Hour Party People and has produced his own material under various guises.Pete's success as a broadcaster, clubland DJ and music industry tastemaker is his ability to create a balance between credibility and commerciality and it not afraid to drop the hits on the decks. "People forget it's entertainment," Pete explains. "I wouldn't be doing this if I couldn't champion new music, but a mix is the key. And it's supposed to be fun."The dance market has changed a lot since Pete started, but one thing remains the same, people still want to go out and have a good time. "People love music, make no mistake about that, whether and how they buy it right now is one thing, but people still want to party...it's our job to come up with new parties, new nights, new venues, new themes to keep the scene fresh and exciting." says Tong.In the meantime, the ever-active Pete still sees his vocation as he did when he started out, playing other people's records to get an audience dancing. "We need to constantly remember why people want to come to clubs - which is simply to have a great time and feel the music." With Tong behind the decks there's little worry of failure on that score.

Carl Cox

A musical ambassador since he was in short trousers, a professional DJ since his early teens, a veteran of acid house and a champion of techno, Carl Cox emits a love of his work that is dangerously infectious. Check him when he's behind the turntables and you can't mistake his ecstatic visage, dripping with sweat as his head bobs up and down to the beat, his hands pumping the air whenever they're not manipulating the turntables, his body swaying back and forth, frequently taking to the mike to share word on the latest underground tune he's about to break. You name it, Carl's been there and done it, but he's never lost sight of the point of it: playing music, breaking tunes, spreading love, celebrating life.

Wally Lopez

Pioneer of House music in Spain, he soon began touring the major clubs in the world, sharing the decks with celebrities such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Dubfire; Tiësto o Danny Tenaglia.Considered to be the most internationally renowned Spanish DJ and producer, he has played on the five continents (New York, Toronto, Bogota, Santiago de Chile, Sao Paolo, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Madrid, Sofia, Bucarest….) and taken part in electronic music festivals such as Creamfields Liverpool, Creamfields Buenos Aires, Global Gathering, Exit Festival, Rock in Rio, Monegros Desert Festival and Creamfields Andalucia.In 2008 he was the guest DJ for Madonna’s concert in Seville (Spain)He is a regular on the White Island. After many years being a resident at Pacha Ibiza along with Darren Emerson and Pete Tong, he has headlined his own night at SPACE over the last three yearsHe has launched a series of compilations recorded in different cities under the name “I’m coming to..”, as well as his compilations “I am vueling to Ibiza” and the second volume of Toolroom Knights along with Tom Novy. In April 2010 he launches his compilation for the world famous Global Underground series, and will tour the planet presenting it in the best clubs.
