Hardsoul protégée Dave Mayer is the latest Dutch new kid on the block to make his mark on Strictly with this four pack of burley beats. 'Dark Days', 'Warrior' and 'That Deep Soul' are pure, floor-shaking percussion cuts of the type you might have experienced on Marlon D's EPs (and indeed Marlon gets a shout-out), but for main attraction 'Rhythm Section' he's joined by veteran Roland Clark, who augments the organ and beats groove with one of his trademark spoken word performances
