Dualton - Formula

A symbiosis is defined as the association of two different species which is beneficial for both partners. A myriad of examples shows that such cooperations can as well bear fruits when it comes to electronic music. Having gained a reputation as successful solo artists, it was therefore only a matter of time that the two like-minded musicians Robert and Patrick would, driven by 4/4 bass drums, launch the project “Dualton”. Dualton is all about sending the party crowd into ecstasies with an energetic and vigorous mixture of techno, minimal and house music no matter whether they make an appearance as DJs themselves or act as producers. Inspired by heavyweights in this field of music such as Sven Väth, Dj Hell, Carl Craig or Steve Lawler, Robert and Patrick have developed their own style. Outstanding DJ gigs and productions with many different record labels like Rompecabeza, Save Room, Force Sense, Restart, Twisted Frequency, Global Underground and Bedrock Records, speak for themselves. Even a heavy-hitter like John Digweed was so convinced of the Dualton-sound, that he signed them for his Bedrock 10 Compilation, released in 2008. The result climbs up to 8 of the Beatport techhouse charts. And in 2009 this guys won't rest. Releases and remixes on imprints like VIVa Music, Diebaudio, Flug Von Welt, Red Light District and Flow Vinyl will follow.Devotees of electronic music be warned - if Dualton is in the house, it’s gonna be a night to remember
