Ercola and Heikki L - Sax (Original Mix)

While Norway and Sweden have been given plenty of attention by the dance music community, they’re not the only Scandinavian countries producing hot electronic beats. Over in Finland, Heikki L has steadily built himself a career as one of the most exciting names in dance music, and over the last couple of years his energy-packed, feel-good take on peak-time house music has begun to find him big fans across the world. Heikki started DJing at the prodigious age of 13, and beginning his career at such an early age meant that by the age of 19 he was already several years into producing, and some of his earliest work signed to Sony in Finland. From there onwards, he found success in numerous different projects, spanning the full spectrum from underground club bangers to big mainstream success. Thumping trance tracks under the name Modulation found their way on to Above & Beyond’s now-defunct Hard On label, Paul van Dyk’s Vandit, and Ferry Corsten’s Purple Eye – while his successful Dallas Superstars project saw him co-produce the album Rush with Darude, one of Finland’s biggest musical exports of all time.

Alex Kunnari & Heikki L feat. Max C - Brand New Day [ remix pack ]

My name is Alex Kunnari and I was born in 1974 in Northern Finland in a town called Kemi. As Judge Jules said in his radio show on BBC 1 on 18th October 2003 when he chose one of my first tunes for Tried and Tested : “Finland is not well known for great music records but it is known for Santa Claus and Lapland, which is a bit ironic because this man who has hosted me well in Finland, when I have played there, is originally from Lapland himself.” What comes to the club music scene in Lapland, it..s light years away from the scene in Helsinki. and to be in the situation I find myself today as a dj I..m as amazed as anyone that I have come this far.The story about my fi rst steps to the world of music starts from the year 1988 when I was 14 years old. I was extremely interested in music and I tried to get my hands on and keep up with all the new records and music styles that were available. In the ages from 13 to 15 I did break dance acts around Finland with a few of my mates. I was young but very well aware of what was going on in the music industry. When I was 15 a local program agency asked me to start to play records. In the beginning I wasn’t even remotely familiar with any basic terms of DJing. For example I didn’t have any idea what mixing tunes meant. My fi rst dj-gig was in 1989 and to my own surprise it went better than well. After I started to get more gigs I took a habit of saving all the money I got from those so that I could buy me my own set of Technics MK 1200 turntables. Personally I think that still, after playing records for 18 years, I learn more and more about playing records and music on each gig.

John Shelvin - Always [ remix pack ]

With the Spanish temperament flowing through his veins and the passion for music awakening his senses since the age of 15, it didn’t take long before John Shelvin’s sounds would be blasting through the many speakers of this world. Groove-fanatics need to look no further, cause John Shelvin has landed himself as a toreador of the Spanish house movement.Born in Orense, Spain, a young John was indulged with the many soundscapes of the early electronic side of music. It was the DJ side of it that he faced and conquered first. John:”When I was 15 a friend of mine had some decks and I went with him to buy records. I left the shop with a box of vinyl and my mind was made up that EDM was my future.” And so, John discovered a whole new life inside a box of vinyl’s. He learned the tricks and flicks of dj’ing and would soon have the right skills to make it down the clubs. After three years of dj’ing and residencies in Madrid, it was time for a new challenge; producing. Not satisfied with playing music produced by others, John took on a production course and invested his savings into a studio. John:”Producing records was the next big step and a chance to find what was really inside my head.”

Heikki l ( Finland ) - Tum Tum ( Original Mix) World Cup House Music Anthem

The Finland national football team represents Finland in international football competitions and is controlled by the Football Association of Finland. The Finnish national team has never qualified for a finals tournament of the World Cup or the European Championships, but has made four Olympic tournamentappearances. It was considered one of the weakest teams in Europe in past decades; especially at a time when many of today's smallest nations didn't yet compete in international football. Finland is one of the few European countries where football is not the most popular spectator sport, and the game has traditionally been played on an amateur basis in the country. Only in the last decade – after the Bosman ruling and the removal of foreign quotas in the EU region – have Finnish players had significant opportunities to play in the continent's top leagues. Today, nearly all regular members of the national team play outside of Finland.

Heikki L - Scanbody feat. Sami S (Original Mix) NEW!!! HOT!!!!

Euphoric belter Tum Tum was signed by Cr2 in the UK, while Deep At Night with Ercola has emerged as one of the most catchy and heavily-supported vocal tracks of the 2008, signed to huge labels Nervous (USA) and Data (UK), sticking in the US Billboard Dance Airplay Top 10 for 2 months and hitting the Cool Cuts Top 10 in the UK. Every release he brings out has a big impact and stands out from the rest of the pack with its big, bold, uplifting melodies and atmospheric sound – and working with vocalists like Max C (the voice of Axwell’s I Found U), it’s likely that more anthems are on the way.
