Cicada - Your Love ( Harry Choo Choo Romero Drum Dub and Remix )

Cicada picked up rave plaudits for their debut album, ‘Cicada’, everywhere from Mixmag to Music Week, DJ magazine to Record Collector and beyond, gave them glowing praise, highlighting the gap in the scene for an electro pop band with the song-writing to match their hooks. Now establishing themselves on the live circuit, with acclaimed gig performances already under their belts, they’re set to be a mainstay of festivals across the globe in 2009.Musically, references have been made to the likes of Blondie, Can, New Order, The Sugarcubes, The Cocteau Twins, Daft Punk and Quincy Jones. But Cicada, are a whole different proposition. Melding their influences into a wholly original sound has made them a unique prospect for the late Noughties – the kind of band that the rock kids ‘get’ just as much as club kids do.The band comprises Aaron Gilbert (also known as Mr Natural), Alex Payne, and Icelandic vocalist, Heidrun Bjornsdottir (formerly of Gloss and 4AD’S Gus Gus). Alex and Aaron have a wealth of experience in producing, making music, and running labels. Both were born out of the electronic scene, but with an equal dislike of musical boundaries - hence their cross-genre forays and remixes for the likes of New Order, The Editors, 13 Senses, Depeche Mode, Lorraine, Seelenluft, The Source, Mish Mash and more.

Harry Choo Choo Romero - King Of Drop (Original Mix) NEW!!! HOT!!!!

I could have just copied in my bio but i want this to be a bit more personal. my words and not some from a paid journalist so here it goes.I was born and raised in New Jersey. Both my parents have had a major influence for my love of music. I have been exposed to music my entire life. Everything from classical, disco, flamenco, salsa, cumbia, merengue, mapale, rock, punk, hip hop, new wave, jazz, is what i grew up listening to.I started deejaying real young and haven't stopped since. I have been blessed and fortunate enough to take my music across the globe from continent to continent to entertain thousands if not millions of fans.To them I thank for supporting me for the last 11 years i wish i could thank you all in person, one on one.I have also had the pleasure of working with some interesting people. From the promoters to the drivers to the light guys and girls, I have learned so much from you guys.In the studio I have been fortunate enough to work on projects for artists such as Whitney Houston, Enrique Iglesias, Diana Ross, Sean P. Diddy Combs, Macy Grey, Jocelyn Brown, to name a few. And what experiences they have all been. For those of you who don't know this i have new management now. XMIX productions is handling all my business. They are handling all my bookings and productions. Let's just say, it was time for a change. I had some truly awesome years being managed by Double Platinum and I learned so much. They are still and will always be family to me.Right now as I write my BAMBOSSA residency in London's SE-1 is going strong
