Earlier this year, Groove Armada released their sixth studio album Black Light. While the album is so solid on it’s own, it’s also produced a whole boatload of fantastic remixes, several of which I’ve posted already. The next single they’ll be releasing is “History” with vocals by Will Young, who you may know as the first ever winner of Pop Idols, the predecessor to the inexplicably wildly popular American Idol, not to mention a myriad of other international versions of the same format. And who better to remix it than UK synthmeister Grum? He gives this track the full on 80s dance treatment, which just so happens to go along perfectly with Mr. Young’s vocals. This really would have come in handy a week ago at the Buffalo Lodge for our nightly dance parties.
