Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Karl-Eric Lerebours began his artistic life as DJ Blaze. This young talent started listening to music at the age of 10, influenced by friends and the local DJs. With education being the first priority of his life, he decided to fulfill his dream of becoming a DJ anyways. He practiced day and night before starting to play in his first parties. In 2004, while on playing for a friend, he was offered his first gig. From then on, he became more and more interested in the DJ culture. His skill has been evolving so far, which has landed him various gigs around the city of Port-au-Prince and in the United States. After those long six years, he decided to expand his musical boundaries, he got into house music where he changed his creative name to Kalo.
